Untitled Document
A user is an entry into
the list of users on the system. Each user has a unique phone number (internal
extension) on the system. Capacities are usually controlled by the number of
users on the system. That is, the capacity of other aspects of the system increase
with the number of users. Most users are people, but conference phones and external
fax machines also count as users if they are assigned a phone number. The user
license is therefore for a named user and is not a concurrent license. This
is because each user may have voice mail and presence separate from any other
named user.
